@CurlsBazillion You answered you own question nothing is wrong with it, but lately they can't give Relaxers away:grin::grin:

too many sistas rocking their natural hair:yep:

BlkOnyx488 When I ask whats wrong with it I was thinking maybe it was a bad batch or an old kit they were trying to avoid just throwing away. But you are right. Much more of us are natural and I think these cosmetic companies didn't think it would go this far. It's possible they didn't prepare and as a way to keep afloat they started making these curl products and these transitioning kits. The market just changed for companies who made mad money off of relaxers and they gotta get in where they fit in.

African Pride never got my hair strait, but it never damaged it, either. I think I know some people who would jump on the price and demand to be sold the ticket price.

Does anyone remember that African Pride highlights kit they used to sell. Yea.... glad I don't make those mistakes anymore.

It just dawned on me while looking at that pic....if relaxers take the "Africa" out of your hair....why put "Africa" or "African" anything as the brand name of the relaxer? Isn't that crazy?

And no...i'll pass on the chemical burns:nono:

You're right the name AFRICAN PRIDE is ironic considering it's burning the african kinks out of your hair. What kinda pride is that? :lachen:
