Or other products from this line? It's pricey but it seems to have good reviews. I noticed some positive reviews specifically from people with afro hair.

This Philip Kingsley Daily Damage Defence Conditioning Spray ($35, shop.glamour.com) is part detangler, part heat styler, and wholly a miracle mist that leaves hair of all textures crazy-shiny and smooth.

I ordered the elasticizer and the elasticizer extreme a few days ago. A good friend of mine recommended it, and I ordered based on the fact she will buy them from me if i didn't see the results she raves about on first try. I have to admit that she has beautiful relaxed hair. There were no ingredient list that I could fin anywhere, so I trusted her judgement. Will share results once I use it.
Dang, LHCF. Has everything. I was hoping to come in here breaking news with this product after using it, lol.

Cool. Please do come back and update!

Love Love LOOVVVEE the pre poo, think it's called an "elastizer" or something?

It's creamy and beautiful and my hair loved it!

I want something that I could protect my hair when I blow dry, especially ends... Subscribing to this thread...

There aren't many reviews of the elasticizer / elasticiser extreme on black/relaxed/natural hair around but the few that are quite positive so I went ahead and bought it but haven't tried it yet. I also purchased one of the itchy scalp tonics, which seems ok.

I would definitely like to hear more reviews from this line.

Thans MileHighDiva. Have you used the product? I should be getting my package today.

No, I haven't. However, I've wanted to try it, along with Keracare Super Reconstructor, and Nexxus Emergencee because of the hydrolysed elastin.

Rozlewis has tried it, but she wants to use it some more, before she provides a review, which I appreciate, because it's pricey.

You have to provide us with a review when you use it! Do you plan on cleansing tonight?:look:

I have the Philip Kingsley Elasticizer Extreme which is described as an intense moisturizing pre-shampoo treatment for over processed porous hair types. Adds elasticity, manageability, bounce and shine.

The Daily Damage Defence Spray says its an ‘everyday Elasticizer’, this leave-in protective conditioning spray adds elasticity and provides defence from daily heat styling, breakage and environmental effects. Daily Damage Defence detangles, adding shine and manageability for all hair types. Use in addition to regular Elasticizer treatments for optimum results. For use on wet hair after washing to de-tangle or can be scrunched into dry hair to remove frizz. Anti Static.

They are 2 different products but you have me intrigued. The price of this is reasonable as compared to the Elasticizer Extreme. I will still provide a review of the Elasticizer but I have only used it twice now.

:lachen::lachen:, girl i flat iron my hair last week, and i'm enjoying the ease of moisturizing straight hair. I will wash monday night though. I will try the original elasticizer on one side and the extreme on the other. I ordered both.

Bumping! For those who used it, what did ya think? ronie

Hey
I did not use it last week as i planned. I had just flat iron my hair, and i wanted to make sure all was well with my hair (using tried and true products) before i use something new.
Good new is: i used it last night. I was going to wait to give a full review, but since you put me on the spot:lol:.
I have both the elasticizer, and elasticizer extreme. I used the oirginal. The texture is very smooth and rich. I scooped out 2 spoonful to apply to my hair. I only ended up using half of that. You really don't need a lot. And i am heavy (read: waste) handed. The application was really nice, although my hair was dried out from sleeping on a an old twist out without a bonnet:nono:. I detangled each section (4 total) with the product in then twisted, and i tell you i never lost so little hair at that stage.
There was no smell i could remember. It's almost unscented.
I intended to leave it on for an hour, but i fell asleep. I rinsed, and washed my hair this morning.
I shampood with elucence moisture benefits. I was ready to do a moisture DC since i did a reconstructor last week. But upon rinsing, my hair felt too elastic for comfort. I ended up doing another reconstructor instead.
Rinsing the treatment out felt really good, and my hair remained tangle free until i twisted it to air dry. I wash my hair loose.
I used SD wgb, and mocha bling to twist.
My hair is still airdrying. It does not feel any softer than usual. Do the twists stretch more than usual? POssible, or it could just be my mind. That's why i need more time to fully review.
The decrease in breakage could be that i recently did a reconstructor. My hair felt amazing last week, so it could be the left over effect.
The increase in stretch could also be that i recently been using lots of grapeseed oil which my hair loves.
Verdict for now: it did not harm my hair, it felt great going in and rinsed out beautifully. Yes i will keep using, and even repurchase. I will keep using to see if the condition of my hair improves.

Ask your friend that's a regular user for the most cost effective way to purchase the elasticizer! Do they ever have sales etc.? Thanks for following up!

Her response was that she bought 2 jars at original price after her hairdresser used it on her. She s been using for a little over a year and she s now running out.
So she doesn't know about sales or anything as she is only now re upping for the first time.
She has thick relaxed APL-BSL hair. I never pay attention to her new growth to know her type. She washes every week. HTH.

Who have been buying all the elasticizers? lol Just went on the website, and the original went from 45$ to 48$ and the elasticizer extreme from $45 to $50. WTH?
