I was wondering i wanted to get a wave noveau before i decided to texturized many people were set against it so i did'nt perm. I have two questions do you get a lot breakage with perms in comparison to relaxers? are relaxers more drying than perms? should i have permed instead of texturized?!! hmmm...I suppose this a question i can only answer fo myself.

I'm not sure but are you texturized now? If so, that may cause breakage right?

oh wait...I think this is a rhetorical question...you aren't considering perming now huh?

they may be equally drying...any chemical is going to take away moisture I think...anyway, are you texturized now? when did you do that? and why if you don't mind? just curious

I was just wondering if i were better off with a perm rather than texturizer(relaxer) in terms of dryness issues.

When you dsy "perm" are you referring to the Wave Nouveau?

If so, I would think they as compared to relaxers are equally damaging. I was under the impression that the chemical used for perms are slightly harsher - but I wouldn't quote me on that.

I don't think it matters so much though. I think any chemically treated hair can thrive if it's taken care of and there are no extraordinary circumstances.
