Can someone please explain the difference to me? I thought they were one in the same because I cant relly see the difference between them and I'm not referring to 'curly perms'

I may be wrong, but i really thought that "perm" referred to a permanent wave or curl, and "relaxers" referred to relaxing the curl pattern in one's hair. I think that somewhere along the way, people just started using the word "perm" instead of relaxer. I have heard A LOT of people refer to getting a relaxer as getting a "perm" and come back without any curls :ohwell: HTH

Nevermind, gorgeous86 said it better than I did LOL
