Perm after wash?

I washed my hair last night because the chicken smell was driving me crazy. I fried chicken for dinner. I want to get a relaxer tonight but I'm afraid of the burning. Has anyone relaxed after a wash?

I agree with qt girl. I did the wash, then relax thing before. Unless you want big ole scabs in your head, dont do it.

I ALWAYS wash the morning of the day I'm to get a retouch that's the only way I DON'T have scabs all over my head. I have been doing this for years and years with no problems. I'm not saying you should do this but this is what I do, my mother and one of my very close freinds also does the same.
