what is your bedtime routine when you wear your hair down in twists? I like to tie my hair up in a silk scarf, but when I wake up, the twists are flat and misshapen! And the hair sits oddly on my head.

Your twist out style looks so pretty - how do you maintain it?
And how often do you do it? Wear your hair like this?

I haven't worn "down" twists.... When I do a set of twists, they're purposely (mostly) worn up... maybe other natures will chime in with their bedtime routines.

Oh, u can ask Carefree... she has a neat way that she "wraps" her twists at bedtime.

As for my twist out style, (( thanks :) )) ........ I maintained it by re-twisting at night. I misted with water, made about 4-5 big twists in the back, then covered with satin scarf (kept the top hair flat = stretched), then covered that with a satin bonnet. In the morning, I might mist with water again, shake, fluff a bit, then go! I think I worn that particular twist out 1 or 2 days before i "puffed" it

I haven't worn my hair like that (twist out) since I took those pics. It's very cold here (snow blizzards).... right now, my hair is ALWAYS bunned up! I'm thinking about twisting, but even that will be bunned up

I was wondering too...I tried some on my head and tied them with my satin scarf at night. When I woke up in the morning they were sticking every which way like tree branches!!!! Plus they were flat. A natural told me she wets her hands and runs them over her head and that usually wakes them up.
