Thanks Mahogani
Because I am carefully looking for another good conditioner to alternate with Mizani moisturefuse. So any comments are appreciated.

I had actually sampled this last month and it wasn't satisfactory. But I took a chance and purchased a bottle and I really like the way it made my hair feel. I will be using it as a leave in when my hair comes out of braids. I give it an 8 out of 10. On the other hand Aussie Slip gets a 10 out of 10 from me. /images/graemlins/smile.gif

Faith, what is the aussie slip? /images/graemlins/ohwell.gif I looked for it at shoppers....which one of their products do you use?? is it the 3 minute conditioner??

Hi MirrorMirror,

I haven't used it in a long time but I really, really, like this product for my combouts. For some reason when I used to wear braids alot, my combouts were RUFF!! So this was a product that really helped to detangle my hair properly.

So I would give it a thumbs up.

I don't use it anymore because luckily (knock on wood) my hair doesn't really get as tangled as it used to so my comb-outs after braids are pretty easy now.

But if I had problems again, that would be one of the things I'd run to.

HTH (hope that helped)

Hi caramelbarbie,

It's a detangler. You can find it at a drugstore, grocery store or go to drugstore.com. I use it as a leave-in (it's light enough). They have discontinued it so you may not be able to find it soon...I think drugstore.com may still carry it for awhile (until they run out I guess). HTH /images/graemlins/smile.gif

I tried The Detangler today and I really like it. My hair came out so soft and bouncy. And I think I like it btter than the Moisturefuse. The ingredients in The Detangler are better for the hair too. As far as the detangling part of it, I didn't notice any extreme difference, but it detangled well enough for me. So I definately recommend this product.

Just wanted to let yall know that I incorectly typed Carror oil, it's actually Carrot oil.

I no this is an old thread but I just saw this product in Target ( while shopping for costumes)for only 12 $ and was wondering is anyone still using it?

I use the Sally's knockoff - GVP Paul Mitchell The Detangler. This stuff is the bomb! I've never used the original. If its better than the knockoff, it could only be unicorn p*ss! Lol!

I used a sample of this given at a hotel and went out the next day to purchase a big bottle.

It gives a lot of slip and I get pen springs curls poppin' everywhere when I co-wash with it.

I was not expecting it to be so good. I'll get the liter size next time.

Just used this for the first time last night. Went away for the weekend & didn't bring any product for my hair aside from my oil mixture (wasn't planning on getting my hair wet). Well I ended up taking my toddler DD swimming & needed to wash my hair afterwards (her kiddie shampoo and conditioner were packed, but I didn't want to use it on my hair).

The hotel samples were Paul Mitchell - The Shampoo and The Detangler. My hair was already in medium size twist & I left them in that style during the washing & conditioning process. I rinsed out all conditioner and using cool/cold water and then wrapped a towel on my head to absorb to water. While my hair was damp, working with one hair section at a time, each twist was untwisted, I added PM The Detangler to an untwisted section as my leave-in, finger detangled, and added my oil mixture. Then re-twist the section. (I had a total of 4 sections and used a satin scrunchie to keep them separated.)

I usually use shampoo and conditioners from brands with more natural ingredients (Aubrey Organics, Kinky Curly, Earthly Delight, & Trader Joes). At home, my final rinse is ACV or AVJ & my leave-in is KC Knot Today.

After using PM The Detangler as a rinse out & leave-in my hair is soft. This conditioner did provide some slip and my hair was not very tangled. I also like the fact the scent was nice and clean. I did not notice a lingering fragrance after using The Detangler.

I have used this. I thought it was alright but it is pretty expensive in the UK (for my budget anyways) so when I run out I wont be repurchasing. Saying that, When I mixed it with olive oil however my hair reeaallllly loved it and it detangled so well. But if I am already paying big money for a detangler I dont wanna have to add another oil just to get the results I want.
On the otherhand the generic brand in Sallys is AMAZING I loved it soooo much. I was gutted when I ran out :(
