PATCH TESTS!!! (computer glitz)
In light of my allergic reactions to some with hair products (nauseau, headaches...) and just today I read that a poster had a problem with major hair loss using a popular hair product, I thought it would be wise to put up this post.
All though we know to do a patch test for relaxers (even though many of us dont) and the such. We never think to do one for other commercial items (Shampoo, conditioner, etc) especially when they have been on the market for a while.
I just purchased 2 new shampoos (that claim they are PH balanced) yesterday because my scalp cant handle even lo sulfate shampoos until 3 months after my TU. I am going to do a patch test for the entire week on the very nape of my neck (a small amount) with both of them to see if I have a reaction.
