What is the difference between a Paste and a Tea rinse (Besides the consistency if thats a difference)

Why would someone choose a paste over a rinse?

I like to mix my powders with a conditioner (Tresemme or Suave). 2 or 3 teaspoons powder with enough condish for my hair. It's a creamy consistency.

I've never tried the paste or teas but I think the condish helps the powder come out easier when rinsing.

rinse all the way, sieve mine though, so no bits tangling in hair.
with paste i had matted hair and difficulty rinsing.
i still noticed strength with the rinse as much as the past, infact after the rinse I still need to follow with conditioner. so the rinse still works well for me.

What powder did you use with the conditioner? Did you notice the strength in your hair as well?

I do tea rinses because I'm in braids - easier to rinse out. I do pastes when my hair is out.
