Thanks for making me want another hair product that I just do not need. I will not be buying any more conditioners for a while simply because I cannot justify the purpose!
I just think they were trying to get blacks to buy it because we all now blacks spend the most money on hair products. I say this because I've been using the regular pantene for years (9?)and it's great! I tried the Pantene R&N and its good too. I might still use the regular kind though.

Well, to me, that's the thing. We're already spending money on Pantene be it Daily Moisture Renewal, Smooth and Sleek or Hydrating Curls... I didn't see why everyone was getting upset that they were making stuff geared towards us. I use the Relaxed and Naturals now, when previously I was using the DMR. Either way, they still have my bucks!
If the product works well for my hair, then I'm buying it. This works great for my hair.
i just saw a commercial yesterday for an oil and cream product by the relaxed line. it was the first i've seen, but then again, i don't watch much tv. it was cute. i loved that chick's head full of curls!! they were so beautiful! looked like a straw set or could have been hers but whatever....they were divine! i tell you, i've been using pantene since '95 when my dad worked for the distributor and i got it all free. It is so about time the stuff was made especially for our hair needs.
I think you're on to something. I used the Pantene R&N shampoo the last time I washed, and my new growth, which is about 6 weeks worth, does seem softer than it normally does.
Yeah I can add this to my list of conditioners to buy. I am already at that stage where you take all of the bottles with an inch left in them and mix them together.
i love pantenes smooth and sleek, i'v been using it for years. my hair hated the r&n shampoo it left a nasty coating on my hair. the condish was ok, but smooth and sleek gave me MUCH more slip than r&n.

Reallllllly? Maybe this will help get me through the touch-up challenge. I'm putting this on my shopping list.
This is exactly what I do too! (use in conjunction w/Keracare) I've been very pleasantly surprised by the PRN line: it smells great! Sometimes I feel like I don't get as much detangling with the conditioner, and I have to use a lot of it because my hair is thick, but otherwise, this is a quality item!
Maybe I got the wrong one. I just washed my hair with Pantene Moisture Shampoo and my hair felt so dry afterwards. I had to put alittle Cream of Nature on it to add a little slip so that I could comb through it. Did I purchase the wrong one.
Elliot, I would skip their shampoos. They use Ammonium Sulfates which are the harshest sulfates out there. Most LHCF members just use their conditioners.
I use the conditioner sometimes for my conditioner washes but has anyone tried the Pantene Relaxed daily oil cream? This stuff actually "relaxes" my new growth and makes my hair look and feel like I just got a touch up. Has anyone else experienced this?
If you're going to use the shampoo, use the R&N shampoo and conditioner. The ammonium sulfate is not much and the moisturizers are da bomb!!!! I gotta go get more conditioner.
Note: For you D.C. area ladies: the cheapest price I've seen is at Shoppers Food Warehouse.
