Pantene Products

I use their Hydrating Curls Shampoo and their Mousse for Curls. I've only used the shampoo once (bought it last week), but I can tell you that I like it better than Creme of Nature because it doesn't leave that slimey feeling in my hair. That's what I don't like about Creme of Nature. I can never tell if I've rinsed it out. But I will alternate between the two.

As for the mousse, I love the mousse. I don't use it as often now considering that I've been told about World of Curls, but I always have it on hand. Great stuff. /images/graemlins/smile.gif

Their conditioners are AWESOME. I am sure everyone is sick of me talking about the Smooth and Sleek. I use it as a leave in b/c it is heavy and weighs my hair down.
I have been using it for years.
I have never really tried the shampoos to give areview but have heard that they are drying.

their shampoos and conditioners are VERY good!!!
i also love (!!!) their leave in conditioner. i did not like their straightening balm though. that stuff was horrible and i was disappointed cause i usually like all their products.

I use their Daily moisture renewal for dry/damaged hair shampoo and conditioner. I like them both and I have never had any problems with them. /images/graemlins/smile.gif

Love the DMR, Love the Smooth and Sleek, love the quencher. Their strengthener is a nice treat sometimes too. /images/graemlins/grin.gif

Before I switched to Nexxus Aloe Rid Shampoo (clarifying), I used to use Pantene's Clarifying shampoo "Purity."

However, after joining this board and finding out how drying Ammonium Laurel Sulfate (sp?) was, I switched to the Nexxus.

But, the Pantene didn't SEEM to dry out my hair...I only used it occasionally. It was good for removing buildup and helping my curls spring back (at the time I had natural hair). And it was cheap!

I Use the smooth & sleek and don't like it all. It's very basic in terms of a conditioner for my hair whereas others have used it and love it. I wonder if the UK version is different from the UK one. I mean they may have the same ingredients but sometimes the product acts/feels different (if you know what I mean)

I have only tried the smooth and sleek. i love it. it is very wonderful for conditioner washes and is great as a leave-in or setting 'lotion'!

Thanks guys. I am almost out of my Nexxus and the PJ in me is kicking up. Plus my sweetie (who has waist lenght hair) and were watch TV and a Pantene commercial came on and that is what he is using now (just switched back after a long use of Nexxus stuff). He commented that his hair looks the best when he uses Pantene. Go figure. Of course we are two TOTALLY different hair types.

Pandora - He is a 2A. Kinda looks like the lead singer from the Red Hot Chilli Peppers (before he cut his hair).

The shampoos are a bit harsh, IMO. I liked the Smooth & Sleek and the Daily Moisture Renewal conditioners. The Daily Strengthening Complex is good, too.
What bugs me about Pantene is that they keep changing the names and the packages. I can't keep track of what's what! And they have a million products for every imaginable hair type but the ingredients are very similar. And the bottles are too big!
