Hey girl. I actually wanted to find out from you (or anyone else who had done something similar with their haircolor recently) how everything is working out with you applying the Adore Black over the highlights and color you had before?

Do you have any issues with the tone? What color is your hair now that it's faded some?

I am seriously wanting to go darker - not sure if I need to go quite as dark as black - but considering that - and wanting to know how you were making out....

Hi Tracy
The Adore has almost completely faded by now.(I think there is a tad bit left)
My hair looks pretty much the same as it was before I applied the Adore.(I had highlights w/the Textures and Tones lightest Blonde)
The blonde parts look like they are maybe a medium ash brown now...hard to tell b/c when I look at my hair pics on different computers my hair color looks different on each monitor!
But the Adore worked out well and I will probably use it again but for right now I am going to take a break from coloring. I was getting a little nervous that it maybe wasn't going to wash out completely...but it did and even if it didn't ..I could have lived with the dark brown/black color it gave me.
(FYI - The black took VERY well to the lighter sections of my hair)

Let me know if I left anything else out you may have wanted to know

Valleygirl, may I ask what brand of red colour you used on your hair that i loved so much in your pictures.

I'm trying to plan my summer hair colour for 2003. /images/graemlins/laugh.gif

VG,

That answered all my questions beautifully - thank you.

I wanted to know (and you'll be able to relate) because I'm tired of the lightness of my hair but I don't want to lose it completely by covering it with black and having it not come out. /images/graemlins/shocked.gif It sounds like it rinsed down to a nice color and will rinse out fine. If not I'll just have dark hair /images/graemlins/cool.gif but I wanted to see if I could find something I could go back and forth with.

I may not even go that dark - just wanted to see what the darkest shade on the spectrum yeilded as far as longer term results. Thanks darlin'!
