I use it all the time, whether I have new growth or not. I find it to be very moisturising to the relaxed hair. It really keeps it feeling moisturised and protected.
Hi! I'm new here and I LOVE this site!--So much info here, I transtioned from relaxer to s-curl and I only applied it to the new growth to avoid overprocessing. It was difficult but I transitioned to fully, non-damamged texturized hair for a year before I cut off my relaxer.
I use it whether I need a t/u or not although I use it more closer to t/u time, say week 7 onwards. It really softens and moisturizes the hair nicely, particularly for braid outs.
When working out, I use it all the time though so I can air dry and go.
Can someone explain the s curl process more? I thought it was a chemical relaxer (just a mild verion) How does that help with curly styles if your hair is already relaxed?
Adrienne probadly would be a good person to speak to. I know she uses it. I use it on new growth and when I am putting my hair into a bun. I also spray it on when wet setting my hair.

Do you use S-curl after you relax or do you wait for new growth before applying it to your hair? Thanks for your responses.
I just wanted to let everyone that responded know, that I bought this product today, and so far I am loving it (it has been in my hair for two hours now). I really like that it gives my hair a wet look. thanks!
