Alright Lady!

I've been looking at your updated pics which are absolutely fabulous

Now, tell a sista how you got your new-growth that straight. Relaxed girl (me) trying to stretch out the re-touch wants to know

Also, the shine! How'd you get the shine? Looks like your hair's been soaking in wet diamonds or something

Lol...you're too funny! Which pictures are you referring to??
I'm going to assume my latest pics...I've been doing the same routine for the past month or two and it's been consistently working. I just apply Carol's Daughter Healthy Hair Butter to my new growth. It lays down my new growth and defines the waves. Then, I just do the gel/scarf trick to set it. I'm practiciing using less and less amount of the HHB.
Hope this helps...

Oh btw, I used to do something similar when I was getting touch-ups. If I wanted to stretch out my touchup, I'd just "oil" my new growth a bit before blowdrying and curling it. That always straightened it some.

okay thanks! So you like the HHB? I thought about getting the Mimosa Hair Honey. What do you think of that one?

So to straighten your new growth--you oil it then blow dry it and curl it?

oops!!! I just looked at my album and I see you must be referring to my "straight" hair pics!! Sorry...

For that, I had my hair done at an Egyptian Salon. They blowdried and curled my hair.

Well those Egyptians hooked you up

Your hair was so straight--and yes I'm referring to your most recently updated pics--the straight ones and the wavy ones.

Thanks for such a quick reply.

Ok, yep...I would say oil the new growth a bit and then blowdry.

I LOVE LOVE LOVE the Healthy Hair Butter! I just paid $25 for a 16oz jar so I LOVE it!!!

I also have some Mimosa Hair Honey. I just use it for shine sometimes. It has beeswax in it so I'm afraid of the buildup.
