Sorry to bug you, I did a search and couldn't find it. What is your hair routine? I love your hair!! I remember the strict regime from a long time ago, was that it? But I forgot half of what that entailed LOL! /images/graemlins/grin.gif

If you don't mind can you post your routine again?

Hi tara! Here's Faith regimen. Oil and moisturize every other day with kemi oil or WGO and glycerin with water mixture. She washes her hair once a week. Pre- shampoo with coconut oil and conditions with jason joboja. If that's not correct, You can do a search by checking her posts under her name. /images/graemlins/laugh.gif HTH....Tonia

THANKS! YOU ARE GREAT!! I did a search and didn't find this /images/graemlins/grin.gif

/images/graemlins/frown.gif( (waaaaaah! Looked under Faith, er'thang came up but this)

Faith, do you ever go back to the Strict regime?

Hey tara,
Thanks for the compliment and you're not bothering me /images/graemlins/smile.gif Feel free to ask questions, that's why I enjoy these sites the ability to ask and answer questions freely.
Anyways /images/graemlins/smile.gif, I actually don't have a strict regimen. I'm the opposite. It has to be as simple as possible. The regimen I had before was:
Wash 1x a week
Oil with kemi oyl or WGO or my mix. I oil my temples with Vit E every day or every other day.
Spray/moisturize with my glycerin/water mix every other day.

I took my hair out of braids a week ago and have been wearing an instant braid do. I have my hair braided in about 8 braids and I have braided weave sewn onto weave clips. So I can clip and unclip them each night. To put them in takes about 5 mins. I came up with this idea last wek and so far so good. (I'll post pics sometime this week). And my no 'poo regimen for this new style is (I do this 2x a week):
Rinse hair with warm water
Put coconut oil in hair for 1-2hrs
Then add conditioner in (without rinsing oil) and leave that for 1-2hrs. I alternate bwt a moisturizing conditioner or a protein/reconstructive conditoner.
Then I add oil and the next day I spray in my glycerin/water mix.
I'm using up my supplies right now but when they're done my conditioners will be GPB and humecto. And my oil will be my mix and kemi oyl. The WGO is just too stinky.
Sheesh, sorry for the long post. Take care! If you have any more questions ask away. /images/graemlins/grin.gif

And that is it, as simple as humanly possible.

Dang tonia /images/graemlins/grin.gif you remembered my regimen better than me. LOL! See that's why I just started keeping a hair journal. To write down what worked and what I should never attempt again. Thanks girl /images/graemlins/smile.gif

Faith,

Did you get that flat iron from Sharper Image? Do you like it? Does it have the variable heat settings?

No I ordered it from a shop in town here (well I haven't received it yet). it has 25 heat settings and it's the slimmer one (so I can get to my roots), it's the one without the comb attachment.

Sorry faith!!! I keep a book full of notes from this board. So if the board crashes or I can't log on for some reason, I just go into my notebook. I know I'm terrible!! /images/graemlins/grin.gif

Tonia--girl you are not terrrible--you are smart! I don't know how many times boards have gone down or posts have disappeared. Now I know who to go to!!! LOL!!!

Do you have your notebook organized a certain way? Also, would you say you're an organized type of person. If so, I need some tips girl!!!!

Happy Holidays!!!

Hey davine!! It's sort of organize. (shrugs) I have a 5 page binder and each section i have it labeled with titles such as relaxers, braids, rollersetting etcc...etc... I even have section dedicated to my PJism -which I have to get under control!! My notebook thang may seems crazy but it has help me so much on my to have healthy and long hair. /images/graemlins/wink.gif
