In a roller set thread, Atate mentioned watching BRH get a wonderful rollerset w/ a stylist who worked fast and used end papers. What is his name and where is the salon? Is it in NYC or one of the boroughs?

Hello LA Woman...

BRH has better info on the sylist. And she can give you better review and info than I can.

I only saw what he did and listened to him explain his technique. I did not see the end result. But I remember BRH said he did a good job.

Hi LA WOman,

I wouldn't recommend this place for a rollarset. The end result wasn't that good. Atate watched the hair being rollarset but didn't see the finish.

It rained alot when I left and the hair frizzed BIG TIME the next day.

They stylist used end papers and alot of mousse and diluted setting lotion, which he was saying was excellent to use but in the back of my mind I was thinking, you don't know my hair like I know my hair.

It was a very neat job but I wouldn't go to him again for that. The rollars all felt too tight. Esp. some which dug in way too much with pins he used. The hair had those infamous 'crunchy curls' after.

Its not Atate's fault as at the time she was watching, the stylist appeared to be doing a great job and took time out to explain to her why he was doing what he did but frankly, a Dominican salon does a much better job.

I went to this stylist for bangs.
