I am so thrilled that you have gone to Tonyce. Yes, she is really a nice person. She a good listener and is a wizard with hair color. I remember the first time I met with Tonyce. I came to her with my hair a complete mess. The only thing that she could have done with it was cut it off. She gave me the Halle Berry (style). I worn that style for about a year and then we decided to let it grow out. I hated that in-between look but she always managed to give me a style that looked nice. She was the first to put in a Mizani relaxer which I have been using for years. She was the first to tell me that I shouldn’t get a perm every six weeks but to let it grow out between 10-12 weeks.
I could recall the days when my hair started to grow how women would walk up to me and ask “Is that a weave and where did you purchase your hair from?” “What color are you using?” When I would tell them I had no weave or a color in my hair (at that time). Their response would always be negative. I went from a Halle Berry to bra strap in 3 years. My hair was so healthy that in any weather - rain, snow, humidity - it always fell back into place. I use to throw my hair back like the girl in the Pantene commercial.
If anybody can get your hair healthy is Tonyce. But I must warn you. Her nickname is “MRS. EDWARD SCISSORHANDS”. She loves to cut so you are going to have to talk to her and let her know exactly what you want. Good Luck.
