Ouch...embarrasing, but.... I think I got some MN in my eye!!!!

So I'm putting the MN/sulphur8 mix on my scalp at night, but because I work late today, I had time this morning to shower and wash my hair. While I rinsing, I think some of the MN/water residue got in my left eye and that sucka has been bothering me all day. It feels like something is in it but there's not. I tried rinsing it out with cold water, but the irritated feeling came back. Am I going to lose my vision for the pursuit of few more inches?? And can someone tell me why this is not enough for me to stop using the MN mixture? Help me!!!
