ORS Olive Oil../ ADDING PETROLUEM!!!

Ugh im so P*SSED of that ORS HAS added petroluem to there creme' mostiuriser in the jar. THAT WAS ONE OF MY STAPLES now it hards Petroleum in them i just went to walgreens and tried to find the one that didnt have petrolueum they replaced the safflower oil to petroluem...
Who else is upset about this

now the Cream

You're late. I think I bought a jar last summer that had the mineral oil in it. I HATE IT. It doesn't work as well as before. It still works good, but just not like before
 
Um didnt it always have mineral oil/petroleum? The only one of ORS moisturizers that does NOT is the Carrot Oil

I really like this moisturizer. But the other day I decided to read carefully the ingredients again and when I saw petrolatum I just died. Of course I can always fall back on UBH Lotion Creme, but it was nice to have an alternative.
 
There was always something about that moisturizer that I didn't like. I use other products with mineral oil with no problem. I didn't realize it had petroleum in it, too. I'm usually not that picky on ingredients, but something seemed a little off. I only used that moisturizer when it was near wash day or when I wanted less body.

It weighs my hair down.
 
Well i've used ORS since the beginning of my hair journey and haven't suffered any problems. I LOVE ORS OLIVE OIL in a jar! It's my staple moisturizer. To each it's own. I guess i'm just lucky and my hair can attest to that.
 
After hearing so many good things about ORS olive oil moisturizer, I bought a tiny jar at CVS the other day and was not impressed by the results...then I read the ingredients...saw petroleum and mineral oil and that explained everything...:nono::nono:
 
Sorry to hear about the changes with ORS Olive oil. I have heard so many good things about their line, and a friend recently told me that these are her staples and she is going for waistlength hair. She had a short bob last year, her hair is currently below bra strap. I suppose it works for some.

Wow, I love this stuff, I need to go check and see if my new jar as it. I guess I going to swing by the BSB and see if they have any old jars left without the petroleum in it. I like it cause it doesn't weigh my hair down, and keep it so soft and bouncy.

The lotion has better ingredients
 
Yall know you need to boycott this stuff and not buy it since they want to get cheap and add cheap filler ingredients.

That is messed up. I dont even use the stuff but for companies to go BACKWARDS and take a good ingredient OUT and replace it with something cheap is just :nono:

Carol's Daughter did the same thing and that didn't stop anyone from buying that overpriced crap.

They dont even use the stuff..
 
I LOVE THIS MOISTURIZER. I used it lastnite on my ends,and then sealed with castor oil,and my hair felt like butter the next day.

Is ths still considered a water based mositurizer since the 1st ingredient is water though?

Hell naw! You better stop supporting them! There are too many good moisturizers out there for you to be stuck on one with crappy ingredients whose company could give two sh*ts about their customers!
 
So i called and finally got thru without being hung up on
i asked bout there condish she said "Well we didnt add anything or we didnt take out no good ingredients" and you can cleary see that olive oil condish has been changed by reading the green and red label olive Oil ingreidents
So about the Chevux'(Creme Mostiurizer")
She said we have never added petroleum in our Olive Oil Creme and im like i have the jar in front of me shes like umm then thats not our olive oil make sure it says ORS on it i saw it im like UGH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! THESE DAMN REPERSENTIVES AINT WORTH ISHTISTHISH!
