ORS Lye vs Silk Elements Lye?

I'm getting my hair relaxed tomorrow and have both relaxers with me and am staring at them trying to figure out which one to use. Right now I'm doing a strand test using some shed hair. There are two differences as to the consistency/smoothness of the relaxers. Silk Elements has a very smooth texture while ORS Lye has a very thick consistency/texture and its glob-like. I don't know if thats a sign to not use the ORS? I've heard so many good things about both, I just can't decide...any suggestions?

I have used both of them in the mild version. I get great results with both. My hair is type 4 and very very thick. It still worked! No burning if done correctly. good luck.

sareca has raved about silk elements lye and mild, from what she said it leaves your hair strong and condioned, but underprocessed and may revert, but thats what she wanted. It might not be good for those who want bone straight hair.
