If this is a medium protein, why does it make the hair soft? I used it, and my hair did not feel strengthened. It was really soft like I had just used a moisturizing deep conditioner. Aphogee 2 minute reconstructor makes my hair stronger than the Hair Mayo. I'm starting to think that this is not as strong like some people say. Maybe it's the new formula. Does anyone find this product to not be on the protein side?

If I remember correctly this is a very light protein product. My hair always feels very soft after I use it however my hair also feels soft after the Aphogee 2 minute.

Agreed, I always thought it was a light protein. I loved that stuff.
