ORS Coconut Oil and Olive Oil Edge Control

I was surprised to see ORS came out with both ORS Coconut Oil and a 2.25 oz of Olive Oil Edge Control at the beauty supply store today. So I bought em Went home and tried both. So far, me likey

The owner's name is Kim (yes, she's Asian). Both her and the entire staff was sooo kind, courteous, helpful and very friendly to me. The store is clean, the products were organized, and she has a wall to wall selection of numerous wigs, hair pieces, hair accessories, etc.

And she loves our military!!! She gave me a 10% military discount. I will definitely shop at this location again.

Thank you. Did you use the coconut oil as a sealant since petro is the first ingredient?

I used it on my hair ends after co-washing with my Kanechom (chocolate) conditioner. I did not use much for that very reason (petrolatum) so I lightly applied the product to my ends only.

So far I am not disappointed.

I just bought the Olive Oil edge control a few days ago. The lady at the counter was like you MUST buy this it's been selling out and no alcohol and wonderful on your edges. I was like erplexed but bought it anyway (PJ in me). I plan on opening it but I love JBCO and water. Do you notice build up from using it?

No, no build up here.

I use only a wee bit (half a pea size) then when I wash my face at tonight, I will take a rag and gentle wipe my hairline. Then I will put a little scented glover's mane on my edges before bed.

The only downfall with the ORS Edge Control is it's somewhat similiar to the Garnier Fructis brillantine shine specifically, same transparent color/ texture and the ORS brand smells nicer but the GF is cheaper.
