ORS and chelating question

I usually use an ORS pack as a pre-poo for a few hours, but I want to try to chelating today for the first time to see how it does on my hair.

Do you think it would be okay to do the ORS first then chelate, or should I chelate first then ORS?

I think my main question is wil chelating "cancel out" any of the effects of the ORS if done after it.

Chelating is a deep cleaning. I suggest you chelate first, and then DC with the ORS afterward. If you want to combat the effects of chelating, you could pretreat your hair with oil or a cheapie conditioner first, and then chelate afterward.
