Organic Biotin Shampoo Equals Disaster!

I just finished an experiment with my organic Biotin shampoo, washing with it only for the past two weeks. I normally wash my hair around 2x a week with a deep conditioning treatment in between. Even with deep conditioning, the Biotin shampoo still left my hair dry and limp. I also tried leave in protein treatments to return the strength and elasticity to my hair and it wasn't working!

I thought going the organic route would not strip my hair since it's supposed to be ph balanced and contain no parabens, but it did the opposite :( . Maybe it was the Biotin that dried it out, I'm not sure. Just had to share this info if anyone is planning to go the organic route for their hair products.

From now on, it's only moisturizing shampoos for me. Has anyone else had this experience with organic hair products? If so, please share

I use Jason's Biotin Shampoo followed by their conditioner and I love it. Doesn't the shampoo have protein in it? Maybe you need to follow with a moisturizing leave in?

^ Nope, it doesn't have protein in it, just Biotin and Cystine. I used Mill Creek Biotin Shampoo that I purchased from an all natural, organic store. I also followed up with a moisturizing conditioner as well :perplexed It might be because I didn't use the Mill Creek Conditioner with it cause some line of products do better if you use it with the same brand.
