Oprah's hair too dry, what do you think?

...but you called Nahla Aubry's hair dry the other day. :look:

Also, I don't think anything is wrong with Oprah's hair...it's not shiny, but honestly, if I could have her length, thickness, and health in exchange for never having shiny hair again...then okay. :lachen:

'twas sarcasm in all it's glory:lachen:

No, I like her hair TYPE and I think it's healthy, and I do wish mine was as thick as hers, we actually have the same hair type she and I, but I preferred it in her earlier shows. I'm not saying she has bad hair at all, no I love it, just not the styling of it :(

Styling is a separate issue from thinking it looks dry.

As was said before, just because it might appear dry to you doesn't mean it actually is. And the matte appearance of her hair is actually how most natural hair looks, no matter what you do to it.

Lets not contribute to the stereotype that natural is dry just because it doesn't shine like the hair we buy in the store or see in magazines.

These constant comments about people's hair looking dry don't make sense to me. Whether they refer to Oprah or Zahara, if you're on a hair board you should know that non-shiny hair does not automatically equal dry hair. And that just because someone's hair might "look" dry, it doesn't mean it is.

C'mon people...you of all people should know better.

I agree but yesterday when Jay-Z was on there her hair was shiny at the bottom and dry at the roots. It just didn't look right. If you're going to straighten it, make sure it's uniform.

Oprah's hair looked fabulous. She may be protecting her hair by using enough heat to style, but not enough to get a super straight look. I'd take her hair any day of the week.
