On Oprah yesterday (I tape) she made over some people who quite frankly needed the help. They were giving long haired people a bad, bad name. I mean 2 ladies had but-length or below hair, but they let it go gray/silver, uncombed and they basically looked scruffy. I must admit they did look much better after but even I held my breath when they cut all of that hair, all she needed was some color or highlights and a minimal haircut.

I don't get it they beauty experts tell you to cut your hair to look more sophisticated and older, then they tell you to cut it short to look younger, while you pay megabucks in weaves, wigs and extensions to get a certain look, does that make any kind of sense?

Ms Kenesha you took the words out of my mouth, Cuba looks great. Iman looks amazing, I need to find a boxing gym pronto!!

I caught the end of it. I was so used to seeing Mrs. King's hair the same way that I almost didn't recognize her. She was and still is a beautiful woman.

I KNOW... I saw that one, I was like that is not the same person..

Those were some good makeovers. But I think those people were in a rut. You can grow out your hair while keeping it looking gorgeous but when it starts looking raggedy and jacked up then it's time to do something. But when you volunteer for a makeover I would think that you have to be open to a drastic change!
