Now that I Con-wash daily...

What should I say (if anything) to all the white people I gave lectures to at work about black hair, hair washing and sebum production.... I hear the comments... I see the questions forming... it's only a matter of time before one of them makes me eat my words...:lachen:

You're not shampooing your hair daily, you're conditioning it. I think that's a suitable explanation if you truly feel that you must give one.

I agree with SuperGirl. But I know what you mean Lotus. They can't seem to understand how we can go without washing our hair everyday. I dont even try to explain anymore.

How will they be able to tell?

Well.. now, I come to work with wet braid or wet pony tail almost everyday, because I co-wash with my morning shower. One of my co-workers (black) pulls my ponytail or braid almost everyday and makes a comment about my hair being wet or says something like you washed your hair- again.

Thanks! Didn't think of it like that, the conditioning aspect. I dont mind questions and long as they are genuine and not asked to slight. I'd rather you ask, before you make an ignorant assumption....
