Well, it's here! My 1 year anniversary! I've gone from barely grazing shoulder length to full shoulder/Arpit length! Thanks to everyone who has given advise and help! I've tried many things, but the biggest difference has been deep conditioning 1-2 times a week, protective styling, no heat, and stretching relaxers. Next stop, bra strap and beyond!

Nice growth progress. Congratulations on your first hair-nniversary!! Continue striving, you'll be there in no time!

Congrats K!!! Way to go. You made excellent progress and I think you had a cut along the way didn't you?

OH MY GAWDD!!!! NOT THAT'S WHAT I CALL EXCELLENT PROGRESS!! CONGRATS, Sweetie!! :worship2::trophy::dance7:

CONGRATS! Thanks for keeping us updated on your progress.
What contributed most to your length retention?

Thanks everyone!

cocothekitten - I haven't used BT in several months. I started getting lazy with it and frankly, the growth was INSANE! I couldn't handle all that NG so I decided to let it grow slow. I really think it jump started my growth though.

Divarox - Nope, no cuts, no trims:grin: My hair's a little uneven but I can live with that:grin:

Candi1214 - The number one this has got to be moisturizing and protective styling. I exercise every day and sweat like crazy so I never got an opportunity to use heat or do much with my hair outside of the bun. I braid my hair at night and sleep on a satin pillow case.

Congratulations on the hair progress and the baby!! And to think....you had that much success WITHOUT pregnancy....just wait to see what your hair does during pregnancy with an excellent regimen! Good luck on the maid and nanny....I feel ya!
