I was thinking about why i got underprocessing the last time i got a relaxer and why was it only in the middle part of my hair and i realised that it was coming around to relaxing time and i was doing conditioner washes and putting grease in that middle part so that my new growth would "boof" up.
My grease contained mineral oil so maybe the relaxer could not penetrate the mineral and petroleum and all that other stuff.

Okay lol i dont know the reason for this but just that if persons had underprocessing occurring and they used grease on their new growth , that could be the culprit . sounds logical ??

If something like this was posted before i'm sorry

I don't know about that! Just think that many people use Vaseline to base their scalps and the don't come is under processed.

I always start in the top or crown of my head because that is where I underprocess at. The hair right there is very resistant so it requires more time with the relaxer than the rest of my head. It might have beent the products. But most that do their own relaxers don't base with vaseline because it is almost impossible not to get any on the hair. I usually start using olive oil or something on my scalp with an applicator bottle.
