The babysitter permed a little girl’s hair at 9 months. She is now 3 and her hair in the back is gone, she has a bald spot in the crown area and two little pony tails on the side. According to the video the mother has cut her hair to a twa and she is doing better.

Just watching that hurt my heart. I hope that babysitter did not get off easy.

Its rediculous and sad!!! A babysitter whether they are family or not does not have the right to relax your childs hair without your permission. And if it wasnt a family member they would have gotten slapped.

Well...I'da been in jail that day! I got on my MIL just for putting a product with mineral oil in my boys hair!! Had I had daughters, and came home to relaxed hair at 9 months old??....Well....

All of them need to be smacked even the one asking the 3 yo do she like geeting perms.

While I'm against little girls getting perms her hair more tgen likely would be a mess regardless its evident that the mom don't know how to care for that childs hair. Your child don't have to scratch herself bald before you take her to a doctor.
