So last night, because my bathroom sink was clogged (not my fault this time lol) I applied my leave-in and sealed while still in the shower, using the shower head to keep the hair wet as I applied product. I set the hair in my usual 2 braids and tied it up for the night. When I saw my hair this morning I was like :grin::drunk::yep::lick:!!!!! It was fantastic! It was so soft, almost completely frizz free, and just all around wonderful. Clearly there is something to this whole shower styling thing. I undid the braids and put it in a messy side bun. My dad saw me this morning and was like, "your hair looks really nice today."

YAY!!! Clearly my new technique for night time setting.

That's great, I finally learned not to be scared of my Denman D3 in the shower. My hair turns out perfect when I use it in the shower for my pony.

So you did that and your hair was dry in the morning? Every time I try to seal over dripping wet hair its still wet when I get up the next morning.

Congrats on finding something great!!! Soooo, what exactly did u do? Seal after conditioner? No conditioner at all? What did u use to seal? Come on... DISH!! :)

Did you moisturise and seal whilst the water was still running through your hair? Or did you moisturise and seal immediately after wetting? I'd like to try :-)

sorry guys...had to cook. lol. i should have taken pics, but i am always in a rush in the morning.

anyway...

after washing out my cowash conditioner, i clipped my hair up in 4 sections, 2 per half. i started with one of the back sections, put some conditioner in my hand, ran the hair under the shower head for like 2 seconds, and immediately put the conditioner in while it was dripping. i then added a bit more conditoner. i made sure to smooth the conditioner evenly over the section. then i did the same thing to the front section of that half. after i was done with the half, i grabbed a little shea butter and sealed the ends of the half together, then braided the half up immediately. repeated for other side. got out the shower and tied my hair in a satin scarf.

it was still slightly damp in the morning, but not wet if that makes sense. it just felt so...WOW! i almost wanted to wear the braids out like that, but i am too into bunning. lol
