Ok..I am trying to stay calm. I found a new hair science website and just when I am deciding to wash/manipulate less I find out about these guys!
Apparently the older you get the more of them you have. They eat sebum, live and lay their eggs in the hair follicle, and apparently they can cause hair loss. BEWARE! VERY GROSS PICTURE BELOW!
