OMG Affirm Fiberguard just burned me

I did a strand test with Affirm Fiberguard Relaxer in mild and it burnt the heck out of my scalp granted I din't have any coating underneath but I left in on for about 20 minutes and it didn't even straighten the strands what happened? granted it should have burned me without a coating underneath but it didn't even straigten it!

Oh No, I'm sorry to hear that.

Have you washed or manipulated your scalp recently? You may need to base your scalp. I use Affirm Mild LYE, but I had scalp irritation from Affirm Fiberguard NO LYE.

I'm glad you did a strand test first.
