Olive Oil as Moisturizer

Hi I currently wear my hair in a chin length bob. I want to moistuize my hair daily, and Im a little confused about what moisturizer to use. I hear that Olive Oil is a good moisturizer but then I heard that oils lock moisture out of the hair. Is Olive Oil a good moisturizer to use daily or should i use something else and use the Olive Oil as a sealant? Please help I am so confused, lol.

I say try the EVOO and see how your hair likes it, everyone's hair is different. Some people cannot use oil alone and some peoples hair thrives off of it

I use oil as a lubricant because for me I still need something water/cream base to moisturize my hair. I seal with Olive oil or something heavier and it helps keep up my shine factor and keep the moisture in.
