Okay, I use a few oils in my hair, EVOO and Kemi oil, but what oils do ladies use for everyday? In your hair, in your food, on your skin? I just want to know, because I plan to start ingesting more essential oils and I would love to know what's good for what and who has seen results doing what?

I only cook with EVOO. I apply a mixture of EVOO, grapeseed oil, sweet almmond oil, avocado oil, vatika oil to my hair. I prepoo with alma oil and coconut oil. I'm thinking about applying coconut oil to my skin b/c I hate lotion...:grin:
 
I really like the pure virgin coconut oil you can cook with it, moisturize your hair with it and I definitely put it on my skin. Also it smells great!!!! It has been said that coconut oil when used in your cooking has a side effect of helping you lose fat. I am cooking with it now so I will let you know if I see any changes in my waistline
 
You can use Red Palm Oil in everyday cooking and on your hair. It has a very distinct color so you need to be sure to rub it in real good. The smell is a little different also but I have masked it with other essentials.

Red Palm can be used for cooking I purchased my oil from Whole Foods. There is a Red Palm Butter you can get online, that one I only use for my skin and my hair though.

EVOO I use for hair, skin and cooking.

I don't know if essential oils are digestible but oils like EVOO are. Be sure to check that when you determine which ones you want to ingest they need to be food grade.

Some of the ones I use come in pill form like Cod liver and Vitamin E.
 
I take flaxseed oil and salmon oil. I cook with evoo, coconut, peanut and soybean (vegetable) oils. In my hair I use to seal, a mixture of avocado, monoi, jojoba and camellia oils. For pre-poos I use red palm oil. I have some palm kernel oil stashed away that I got from the Carribean market along with the coconut and red palm oil. I have tea tree, avocado, castor, jojoba, emu, coconut and olive oils in my scalp oil.
 
EVOO:
- I cook with it
- I use it in my hair under the dryer with my deep conditioners

Jojoba:
-I use it to seal my ends before wetsetting (along with my leave-in conditioner)
-I mix it with a few drops of Rosemary Essential Oil for scalp massages and treatment
- I lightly mix with my facial moisturizer (during winter only)

EVOO: Cooking, dipping, warm oil hair treatment, warm oil skin treatment for rusty heels and elbows, mixed with water in my spray bottle as a quicky hair groom.

Jojoba: On damp hair after a co-wash, summertime skin care.
 
COCONUT OIL IS MY CURRENT FAVORITE! I just received my hair oil from SweetCashew but I'm saving it until my coconut oil runs out!

I love oils too!
 
I seal my hair with a dime size amount of castor oil mixed with like two squeezes of Africas Best herbal oil Works good and feels light
 
I use a lot of oils (EVOO, baobab, castor, sweet almond, avocado - not all at once, though :drunk:) on my skin mixed with shea butter. I've been doind that for almost a year, and my skin has never looked better! I also use EVOO for cooking.
I'm about to try it on my hair!!

Hey! We've got all the same oils...well, almost. I haven't heard of monoi before.
 
I've been taking Vitamin E for 2 months...
I don't see a difference in anything :lol:, but I will continue to take it till it finishes.
I also just started taking EPO, hopefully this will relieve some of PMS symptoms, I use to take it religiously and it helped me with PMS.

WHere do you get all your oils from? I have such a hard time finding all of these?:perplexed
