I really, really liked it. I have never used a Maxiglide before (Or another flat iron for that matter, so I don't have anything to compare it to) but compared to some of the pictures I have seen on the board I think that the Remington did just as good a job on my hair. I am especially impressed because my hair is coarse/resistant.
Since I got mine for a very good price, I may consider going back to get another one and using it as a door prize at our NC-LHCF meeting. Truthfully, I could not beat the results for $10.00 (originally about $25-30). I took pictures so that I could share with you my results and I will soon develop a portfolio and specify which ones were when I used the Remington Steam Flat Iron.
