okay I think i\'m going to do my own color rinse...

For the first time. My old hairdresser used to use the beautiful collection and i'm going to do the same. how do you all do your rinses? the directions say shampoo, rinse, but do not shampoo again. I could have sworn that sometimes my hairdresser shampooed one more time after the rinse. i think she used to shampoo, condition, color, then rinse and shampoo again if necessary. also, if i use a blond/gold color, is it going to make my hair turn a funny color? i have dark brown, almost black hair. What color should i use? TIA

I did mine on Wednesday. After I did my touch up, I shampooed, applied rinse, deep conditioned, and styles. I never used blond or gold. I used burgundy this time. My hair is almost black like yours and it gave me dark burgundy. HTH.

ok so you colored before conditioning? that is where i'm getting confused, i think my old stylist used to condition first but the directions say use the color after shampooing.

I colored before conditioning and it came out fine.
