I'm gonna call tomorrow and see if they will accept a credit card over the phone. If not, I will mail a money order. I'm ganna get the 514.

I'm mailing my check out this weekend. I'm weiry of the mailing thing, but I think I'll have it insured or better yet send it via UPS or Fed Ex 2nd day, I need to guarantee they have it and get a signature for it. That's the only way I'll feel confident.

Oh yeah, did you do the certified check or money order? Who was it made payable to?

BTW, I'm getting the 514.

I agree with you, I don't like the mailing part either. I'm so used to instant transactions. I'm doing a money order and getting delivery certification. I'm taking it directly to the post office. He said that you can do the order over the phone, but you will be charged a 3% amount for doing it that way. Check out the Pibbs thread, VSlady says who to make it out to, shoot, I guess I ought to find out too, so I can write out my money order! :grin:

Sheesh!! You know I got my CSI on LOL I found the number and called the store. The man said that they would order it for me and it will cost $395.00. SO... after I picked my jaw up off of the floor, I told him "Okay, I'll call you back" :lachen: Thanks for letting me know that they do sell it in Philly. I was wondering. I think out of all the prices I've seen for it, this is the best.

You can also send your payment via usps certified mail return receipt or priority (2-3 days) mail with signature confirmation That will be less expensive. UPS or Fedex would be expensive in my opinion.

go down there or call. when i went in there about a month ago i asked him if he carried pibbs. he pointed and said thats it over there. i asked how much and if memory serves me right he said.....drum roll please.....199!!
now i dont know if that was the professional price or the price for the public. oh and i dont know which model it was either:grin:

Thanks - I'm going directly to the PO too with my money order and sending via certified mail. Can't take any chances with my funds. Will keep everyone posted. Please make sure to make copies of everything you are sending. Good luck! Can't wait!

Also this price is excellent - considering I was about to spend $286 which did not include shipping and with shipping came to $346. This should make you feel a little better.
 
Okay everybody, I just came from the post office. I sent my payment for the Pibbs 514 using a money order that I got from the post office. I sent it certified mail, which means that I can track it online and it requires a signature from the person who gets the mail at Imperial Sales.

You make the payment out to 'Imperial Sales' and you also put their address on the money order. I recommend you send it certified mail and staple your cert mail receipt and your money order receipt together and put it away in a safe place.

:angry2: I went to usps.com to check the status of delivery of my payment. They TRIED to deliver it at 11:01AM this morning but:pullhair: HE MISSED:swearing:THE DELIVERY!!!:darkcloud: Darn. I hope he'll get it on Monday.

So did I. I put some moolah to the side to buy a hair net, some ear protector jammies and anything else for the grand opening of my personal home salon. DH even brought me a hairstylist apron :lachen: :lachen:
