OK So..ummm... I got a USB. Now what?

Cause the phone's user manual didn't say much. I had a phone scare last night too and nearly lost all my pics and data (don't ask. too embarassing).

So I have a usb cable and I'm ready to show you all my hair (finally!!!)

I don't know which phone you have but most phones need the actual phone cd rom installed on to your computer; because of the different file types on phones and computer, they aren't actual compatable; it's the job of the phone-specific cd-rom to convert the images, file, etc. to make them compatable with your computer. But if you have a more high-tech phone, like a Pocket PC or a Blackberry, your pictures should already be Jpeg ready and just plug it up and go! That's what I know...but I can't help you further than that.
