I was having a little issue with shedding and breakage (not much though) and itchy scalp. I think the shedding and breakage came from me slaking on my protein treatments. I don't know where the itcy scalp came from. I think its a different Lekair condition I use, the Herbal Chloesteral w/ the black top. Anyway, I normally use Motions CPR for my protein, but unfortunately, the BSS in my area where out of stock.(Can you believe that). Anyway, I went to walgreens and saw the replenishing pak. I tried it today, and I absolutely love it!. It made my hair sooo soft, light, and bouncy. It also reduced the shedding and breakage.

So my question is, It this product a protein or moisture conditioner?
Also does this stuff come in a tub, b/c I had to use three backs to fully cover my head.

You know, I've been trying to find a bigger bottle or tub of this too, but it seems to me that it only comes in the ORS relaxer kit or in the individual packets. Both packets are the same size. I'll keep looking though. It would definatly be a shame if they don't have bigger sizes ...unless they know what they're doing and want you to spend all that money cause thhey know they have a good product. Sigh...erplexed

The pack says "deep penetrating conditioner" but I know descriptions can be deciciving. Since I'm a newbie and I don't know my "proteins" yet, here are the ingredients:

Water, soybean oil, glycerine, olive oil, hydrolyzed collagen, quaternium-80, DMD hydatonin, amino silk acid, dimethicone copolyol, orange oil, d'limonene, panthenol, dimethicone, EDTA, chamomile extract, sage extract, nettle extract, rosemary extract, sage extract, alo vera gel, yarrow extract, kiwi extract, polyquaternium-37 AND trideceth-7, triethanolamine, hydrolyzed glycosaminoglycans, methylchlorosothiazonone AND methylcholorothiazolinone, Yellow #6, yellow #5

I love this stuff!
I found it in a big bottle at my local BSS for $11.99.....a little pricey.
It is moisturizing, but it has protein in it too, the perfect mix IMO

Yes, it's some good stuff! My breakage reduced significantly with it. My hair wasn't quite as soft as I would have liked so I added Humectress for about 2 minutes. I've seen the large bottle at my local BSS also.

This stuff is my holy grail!
Nothing and I mean NOTHING gets my hair as soft as the ORS pak does.
If I can find it in the big bottle, I don't care how much it costs, I'm taking that sucka home!

It has both protein (hydrolyzed collagen and silk amino acids) and moisture.

I haven't learned all the lingo yet (I really don't know what moisturizes, gives proteins or cones), but I know that my hair loves this stuff!

I actually started using it about a year ago. I was at the Dollar General because they had a sale on all black hair supplies and I decided to get one and give it a try. (I told you ladies that I was cheap when it came to products. They also carry Pantene, Motions, and Suave.) Now I will go to the DG just to get these packs! I always keep atleast 3 extra at all times! I use it once a week (well, I try to wash once a week). I sit under the dryer for about 15 min with a shower cap. This stuff is awesome. I'm going to look for the big bottle. Great to comb and detangle natural hair.
