After washing my hair, I always apply oil to seal in my leave-in; but normally I do this after having detangled. Tonight, while wet setting my hair, I made a mistake and put some oil on a section before I started detangling and the tangles just fell out.

So I kept on doing it for the rest of the set. Does anyone else do this? Have I been in the dark? :)

Glad you found something that makes detangling easier, i apply oil after

I always apply oil after detangling. I have always thought my hair becomes a little sticky with the oil in it. But I will give this other way a try.
