At the moment, I'm feelin' red palm and coconut oil mixed. Red palm is a solid at room temperature so I heat it until it's liquid, add some coconut oil, and pour it on my hair.

Then I sit under a steaming towel or 20-30 minutes or however long it takes for the towel to get cold then cowash.

My hair LOVES it.

Thats my next move, red palm. I saw it recently and was tempted to try it. So its good huh???

Currently Im using my own Vatika version and Shikakai oil. I have to say that oiling is saving my hair! I actually do a rinse with Vatila after my inital wash and the hair loves it.

Usually I do a overnight leave in and rinse then apply the shikakai bar or chandrika.

My current mix is monoi, camellia, avocado and jojoba oils mixed together and sealed in with shea butter that I softened up with a bit of avocado and jojoba oils - moisture, shine, smoothness, silkiness... This is my daily oil. For prepoos, overnights or deep conditions, I use peanut, soybean, olive, sesame, sunflower oil mix that I infused with nettle, rosemary, burdock, yarrow, brahmi, tulsi and sage. I have been beating back the urge to buy more oils because I have plenty. I want pumpkin, wheatgerm, black cumin seed and cherry kernel. I have plenty already, though.

Currently I've been using Oilve, coconut and Emu Oil and it has been working well for my hair. I love the shimmer oils give my hair, so I'm always open to using different types. I also use some peppermint oil when deep conditioning.

Oh yeah! I forgot about adding emu oil to any growth concotion I buy or make. I love me some emu.

I have been using a mix of coconut and alma oil for prepoos. I saturate my hair with the mix and cover with a plastic cap. I either sit under a dry on low for 20-30minutes or just take a nap of hang around the house with it in for atleast an hour.

Wow adw425 , thats a powerful mix you got going there!!!

And I didn't even add my scalp concoction -- emu, coconut, tea tree, brahmi, castor oil, hemp, jojoba, neem, black seed essential oil, aloe vera and maybe one or two others. I like oils :) .

I'mma try this. I just ordered red palm and kernal oils last week and I can't wait to receive them. ;)

I looove jojoba oil! I use it almost daily on my scalp and ends and have noticed a tremendous difference in the way my hair looks and feels since I've been using it. It's very light and doesn't weigh my hair down and since its similar to our scalp's sebum, it doesn't clog pores. I like to mix jojoba with castor, olive and sweet almond oil and add tiny drops of lavender and rosemary eo's to help alleviate dandruff and to aid in hair growth.

My other love is coconut oil. From Nature With Love's Virgin Coconut Creme is one of of the best I've tried. It smells good and leaves my hair feeling very soft and shiny. Coconut oil really makes braidouts look nice and shiny. :)

Stargazer, I love jojoba. Jojoba oil blasts that sebum and opens your pores. Its probably one of the best growth aides out there because it REALLY cleans your scalp and follicles.

I love it combined with teatree and peppermint.
