So i live in New York City and i was going to work, it was around 5pm. I was 16(last year) and so i was taking the train and then got off on my stop. It was just another normal day and another day that i had to just go to work. So, i was walking down the stairs and there were two pto rican chicks, i knew they had to be pto rican because i am dominican and i can easily tell because of the way they talk. So, i was just MINDING my own damn BUSINESS and i wasn't doing anything, i was just rushing so that i can go and cross the street and go to the damn Yankee store that i used to worked for. One of them had RED hair, the type of red that would make you go blind and she had a dog in her bag as if she was PARIS HILTON. The other one, i forgot but the red hair chicked had her hair blown out and then she says, they "JUST MAD CUZ THEIR HAIR DOESN'T FLOW WITH THE WIND" so i am like ok WTFF. I was looking around to see who the hell they were both talking to, and i was the only one that was going down the stairs with them. I DIDN'T SAY ANYTHING, I WAS MINDING MY OWN BUSINESS DAMN IT. I had a bun because at that time i had a lot of new growth and w.e. Why do people do this stupidity? I wasn't even paying attention to them JESUS...

Exactly, unless that stuff is plastered to your head with Pump It Up, I thought all hair blows in the wind. It the bounce and swing on your own that you want. Anyway, bump them. Don't let it bother you.

It's going to be OK. lol I hate to say but when you get older it doesn't get any easier. There are haters and ignorant/stupid people at EVERY age.

You're doing the right thing. Focus on your hair and it's health. Forget what they're doing and saying and focus on keeping your hair healthy. Keep it moving.

There is so much I can say...like the one with the long, red hair probably has string, limp hair that lays there until a breeze blows it, or probably wouln't move during a hurricane because its frozen with gel. Also, I've seen many who edges are slowly receding because of the same tight ponytail they have been wearing since childhood.

Haters!! Don't sweat it. You keep doing what you do..they next time you cross those or other haters, your thick, long hair, blowing in the wind will slap them in the face as you pass!!
