Hello newbie!!!! :D

I tried HF37 however, it made me real sick for some reason. I don't know about Noxin. I do take powdered MSM with Ester-C (I think there is a post somewhere about MSM), I find MSM to be great. HTH.

HI newbie,
HF-37 will burn a hole in your pocket it's expensive. I use to use it and it worked for me but it works for some not others. I now take a generic substitute, HF is just a bunch of AMino acids and then a vitamin B-complex pill- I just took the empty bottles to GNC and health food store and matched the ingredients up. I haven't used Nioxin so I don't know about it. Vivscal works well to, but there is a generic marine or fish protein availble but it's hard to find. There are liquid aminos and b complex too. hth

I've taken Nioxin and it was great. My hair feels a lot thicker (it was already thick) but the price was a bit too much (30 day supply for $16-17). I'm taking GNC Ultra NourishHair right now. It's pretty good. I'd say to you not to get caught up in taking a bunch of stuff and some have. Find a good multi-vitamin that also contains any desire supplements (e.g., MSM and biotin). GNC Ultra NourishHair contains both. Both contribute to hair growth and health.

if money was not a factor would Nioxin be better? also what has helped u get the most length

I just started the GNC Ultra NourishHair so I can't comment on how good they are. Nioxin did a great job on aiding with my growth. It also seemed to help with the shedding, therefore, my hair has gained it's thickness. But I would definitely have to say that consistency is the key. Consistantly taking the vitamins daily definitely makes a difference.
