Why are you all upset? God didn't contaminate the fish with Mercury. God didn't infiltrate the food with dyes and chemicals that cause gluten and wheat and other allergies. God didn't do that. Be glad that we have the know how to determine these things and avoid them.

Hi there sugarbaybie, seeing as I was the only one who responded... I wasn't upset when I'd posted.
You're right, God didn't do any of those things but the people in this cartoon seem to think so; it represents to me any time I'd been ungrateful to God or not trust Him. You have to ask yourself, WHY would you even think God would offer you fish w/ mercury and contaminated food, when nothing but Good comes from Him?
So it was a reflection for me, of the heart and attitude. And the tragedy being ungrateful to a God who has nothing but our best interest at heart.
Did you get anything else from the cartoon? I'd like to hear your thoughts...

Like the stranded man praying for help to whom G-d sent a rowboat, a motorboat and a helicopter but he declined them all, praying for 'salvation' and drowned anyway. LOL. I get the cartoon.

I agree, 100%. In this world the way things are, its best to grow your own and eat only that. Sometimes we can't but it should be the goal, nothing is safe if someone else is producing it, especially meats. OMG... I don't trust anything anymore, shoot not even fruit everything is suspect.

Thanks Laela... I feel exactly the same way. Your entire posts speaks my heart in this.
The cartoon simply represents what society has come to, since the 'Garden' which God created 'perfect' and whole. And I love what you said, that God would never give us anything but Good, He would never offer us anything contaminated or harmful.

I want to say that I am very grateful to know God and to have had the chance to be born-again. I love my Saviour Jesus Christ and I know what God did for me. I am in no ways perfect but being that God knows that and knows me gives me comfort and makes me feel loved.
sugarbaybie, I have to agree with Laela, no one here is upset. I was simply sharing the irony in society.
