Oh NO!! I\'ve become a PJ!!! NOOOOOOOOOO!!!

Today I spent the majority of my day at THE BEAUTY SUPPLY! Not 1, Not 2, but 3 BSSs I went to today, and I Spent money at ALL of them. Moisterizers, Leave-ins, styling tools, scarves, and oil sheen is what I've invested money and time in today.

Will someone please help before this obsession goes too far?

On the flip note, I think I've found some good products!

Well, I bought 2 BEEAAUTIFUL satin scarves to sleep in, a K-cutter comb, (thanks to LHCF), some Soft-n-Beautiful oil sheen, and this stuff called Biotera Leave-in conditioner.
I think that the Biotera Leave-in will probably end up being my favorite, because its very similar to the Biolage leave-in tonic. Also, the Biotera is muuuch cheaper than Biolage's tonic because it only costs $3.79 @ Sally's.

Dont sweat it...you're relatively new to this hair thang so it takes some experimenting to find the right products. Now, just enjoy them, keep a journal so you know what product combos work and dont work, and ENJOY!!!

I too have become a PJ. and now that I have found a new salon i know i am going to be broke. Maybe if people (i aint gonna say no names.... SG!! Caramela!! Trace!!) stop telling me about the good stuff, i wouldnt be such a pj

but i believe that when all these goodies run out, i will run back to my staple stuff.

Thanks for the advice lunalight. Now I don't feel so bad after all. It's just that, I still feel like something is missing in my hair product wardrobe. My dorm now looks like a beauty supply thanks to my new obsession, but no matter how much I buy, I still want more!

I hear that! I know the feeling. I must say though, that as time goes by, I feel less and less of an urge to binge on products because I've found staple products. I think that I will always be a conditioner junkie, though!

I am still a PJ out of control I just ordered $70 dollars worth of hair products from
Uptown Beauty and spent $50 dollars at the Vitamin Shoppe.
I blame it on I live in the country and have to buy in bulk.

Thanks Lindy! I went into PJ withdrawal convulsions when I 1st read that list of products that "I would love to have".

Tip:
When you find an excellent product (ie. excellent conditioner) and you're pleased with the result, don't continue to look for another product (conditioner) that's better. If you don't need it "Back away from the BSS shelf". (Taken from excerpts of the PJ Anonymous 12 step program

)

Some ladies who have PJism under control, won't experiment with a new product (ie. another conditioner) until the old one is all gone. HTH!

That Salerm Wheat Germ Conditioner is the Bomb.
