I did a twist out last week and I LOVED IT. I got a lot of compliments. The style lasted about a week and I need to rewash but I definitely dont have time to do it tonight. I posted pics in my album.

Your twist out looks great! How did you do your twists?

Wow, you ladies are proving that twist-outs can work on any kind of hair

Your hair looks so naturaly wavy/loosly curled in those pics. Very nice summer look

I did a conditioner wash first. Then I sectioned my hair, applied my leave ins and a Giovanni Direct Leave In to each twist. I also applied Healthy Hair Butter to the ends as well as the Triple Moisture Serum. I think I did 4 on each side and 6 in the middle. I also applied magnetic rollers to the ends and tied a scarf around the edges. It was a little damp where the scarf was the next morning so I sat under the dryer for 30 minutes. Applied some Tui Oil and I was on my way to work.

I also retwist everynight since I did not want to take a chance of having a busted head at work. I think I took the pic the second day of the twist out.

Your twistout looks wonderful. And your hair doesn't seem to really shrink from wearing it that way.

I've been doing twistouts myself lately, and I'm liking it too. The only thing is my hair comes out pretty BIG, and it's a lot shorter than when I do my braidout. But overall twistouts are a fun style!!
