I'm not asking because I don't believe that anyone can grow that much hair, just because the way she has it looks a little weird. At the top of the afro section, it looks not as long as the rest... which is weird. How long would that be straighted out??

Also, remember that she has her hair going back so that may be why it looks shorter than the rest. As the hair moves down the back of her head, it will hang lower than the hair at the front. Whether it's hers or not, I agree that it's gorgeous but I don't know if I could deal with all of that.

I saw a lady on the metro with hair like that about a year ago, but it was pulled into a poytail in the front, and it was all textured like that. I believe it was her hair because I don't know anyone who would pay to get a weave like that, most would just get straight hair.

So, I can believe that this is her hair. Maybe when her hair is straightened she has it cut in layers and don't forget shrinkage.

That's hair on a track. That's why the length is so inconsistent and 'graduated' it you will. It's all one length of hair on the track so it comes out uneven when sewn.

I think that it is her's. Remember that a lot of us are multi textured, myself included and it seems that her hair in the extreme back is a little looser in curl\nap than the rest of her hair. Rememeber most natural hair grows out and down not necessarly down to hang.

So to say it twice I believe it is hers. Plus most people who wear longish weaves usually don't get long afro\nappy type hair because most of them want the long, silky flowing type hair.

If it isn't hers, oh well aint no change out of my pocketbook.

I agree thickhair, also I have never seen a kinky weave that actually looked like real kinky hair.

I think the hair on top appears to be the shortest because those are the ends of her cornrows from the front. My hair did that before I chopped it down to 1/2 inch.

I believe it's all her hair. Her hair maybe different lengths from it previously being layered or she may not get trims or something.

I think her hair is beautiful and all hers. Anyone who is sporting natural hair will know that natural afro hair can look like this if it doesn't break and is well taken care of. I reckon that if it were straightened it would probably be waist length.

I saw hair like this on a client of a natural stylist. The client was a long time transitioner. I mean like over two or three years. The client had waist length hair and still had like 4 or 5 inches of perm left. It was this full, this big, this curly....ALL HERS. So I do believe it is possible. (I do believe, I do believe, I do, I do, I do believe it is possible! )

I guess the only real way to know for sure though is to ask the owner.

Remember that a black woman's hair is naturally full of body and fluff! Even my hair that makes two puny braids looks extremely full when I comb it after washing.
