Hey e'erybody /images/graemlins/wave.gif. I guess I have lurked long enough. I think I have asked everyone in here questions already as 'Meka0517'. Foxy_B said she was gonna put me on blast, so I thought I'd better get on out here and do it myself. /images/graemlins/grin.gif /images/graemlins/wink.gif

I have spent almost everyday in here since July, so I feel like I already know alot of you.

You all are so classy and respectful. You are really making this hair growth thing fun! I look forward to this daily!

Finally! I was going to give you until Monday to introduce yourself before i shouted you out of hiding.

Is that the rollerset you did yourself? It looks awesome!

Question..Why doesn’t my bantu knot set come out like yours?

Your hair looks great. I cannot do a bantu set to save my life.

As far as the bantu set, you have a TON of hair.

I lightly twist, bend the twist and ravel it around as it would go naturally. I think the trick is to make sure that you wrap the hair around in a spiral towards your scalp. The ends of your hair should twisted around the base of your knot. And you just put a pin thru it.
 
KAddy, I have to perfect rollersets. I had rollers everywhere /images/graemlins/grin.gif You have that down to a science.

The next time you try a BK set, try to twist naturally. I was twisting my hair too hard the first few time I tried it.

Thanks for the hint. I think that was it for me too, my head looked a hot mess the next day.

It didn't help that the night i did it my husband was like "What is that?" I was like you'll see in the morning. Well the morning came and he ain't see nothing because my hair was all pulled back into a pig tail (ain't got enough for a pony tail) /images/graemlins/rofl.gif
 
Welcome! /images/graemlins/wave.gif You'll learn a lot here! Also, I just wanted to let you know, that bk set (what does that stand for?) looks good. Did you achieve that by just washing your hair or did you curl it with some type of rollers?
