October 2023 What Did You Buy This Week? (Hair Care Edition)

Took advantage of the Ulta sale and grabbed 2 jars of Melanin Haircare Plumping Deep Conditioner. Never tried it before but I think I will like it. With this purchase and one other prior purchase, I am set for the rest of the year and into the new year with these deep conditioners.

I shop regularly and don't usually post everything I buy. However, I got more than usual because there were a ton of good sales last week for National Hair Day(some very good sales are continuing this week too). When I shop, I stock up during really good sales. Most of this list was 50% off or more. Everything on this list was on sale.

Its a 10 was on sale on both the Ulta and It's A 10 sites for 50% off. The sale on Ulta was 50% off + 10 % Rakuen cash back + a 15 dollar off 50 or more coupon. I used the 50% off 15 off 50 and Rakuten cash back on 2 Ulta orders. After that, I went on the It's a 10 site to buy things I wanted that were not available on Ulta.

I am not finished with the Ulta sale yet :drunk:. There are still a few more items I plan to check for until their sale is over. I know this is a lot of stuff, BUT I use up my stash without decluttering. When I rack up during good sales, I save more money than if I paid full price and it is more convenient than repurchasing for a higher price because I ran out of something or buying something that isn't great because I am in a pinch. My hair cabinet is full of items I love and can choose from lol. So, I can wait for decent sales when I re-up, or only pay full price on my top favorites. It is extremely rare for me to buy a product that gets wasted.

Okay, the Ulta sale officially ended and I am all stocked up. I do want to add the caveat I usually wait until Black Friday to shop like this, but many of these deals were 50% + off so that is likely to beat Black Friday sales.

So here are the deals I got in the past week.
Wella
  • Ultimate Repair Hair Rescue Mist
  • Ultimate Repair Hair Rescue Conditioner(x2)
  • Ultimate Repair Hair Rescue (Shampoo)
I wanted to try this line but I considered it too expensive before the 50% off.

Invisibobble 40-50% off
  • Heatless roller(x4)

Frederick Fekkai (50% off)
  • Brilliant Gloss Glass Hair Anti-Frizz Serum
  • Straight Balm
  • Super Strength Protein Power bond Mist
  • Super Strength +Ever Bonding Oil
Used to love Fekkai products, but haven't used them for a long time.

It's a 10
  • Miracle + Keratin Deep conditioner
I need a replacement protein treatment, that isn't a bond treatment. So got some new ones to test.

Go Sleek 40% off
  • 2 silk roller kits
Will check Black Friday and maybe get another size.

Flexi-8's(3: 50 % off ...1: 20% off)
  • 4 designs in the mega/XXL size
Joico 50% + off
  • K-Pak Intense Hydrator(Fragrance net)
  • K-Pack Shampoo & Conditioner duo (Fragrance Net)
  • Revitalux Restorative Treatment(eBay, it is discontinued)
Redkin 30 % off
  • One United All-in-One treatment
I promise I don't splurge like this regularly, but I rack up like this during huge discounts and a lot of the sales I shopped in October were better deals than what Black Friday will offer. I will peek at great deals between now and the beginning of December to check the items I have been waiting on, but am stocked up on everyday hair products.

Took advantage of the extended one day only Ulta sale for things that I missed the first time around:

2 bottles of Curlsmith Miracle Shield

1 bottle of Bread Beauty Supply Scalp Serum Exfoliating Scalp Treatment

The Bread product is a new one for me but I am so serious about my scalp health so hopefully it works well. The reviews of this product are mostly good.

1 Bottle of Komaza Care Protein Strengthener

I have been wanting to try this for months but it was always out of stock. I had to go back to using ApHogee 2 Step because I tried other so called protein treatments/protein based conditioners and they just weren't doing it. Hopefully, this Komaza one lives up to the hype and replaces ApHogee. I wanted to get two bottles but settled on one to make sure it works for my hair before I buy more.

@Dare~to~Dream
Great Product:up:

IMO: Equally as good (in no particular order)
Annabelle's Perfect Blend Keratin Protein Treatment
Sarenzo's Amla and Bamboo Protein Treatment
Hydratherma Naturals Amino Protein Treatment
SSI Okra Reconstructor
I have tried the Annabelle product and I liked it but I still needed something more strengthening. The She Scent It Okra Reconstructor was also on my list to try and it was sold out too for a little while. It's back in stock but I decided to wait until Black Friday. However, when I got the notification that the Komaza product was back in stock, I immediately jumped on it lol. It could go out of stock again for another 6 months so I didn't want to miss out. I hope I like it and if I do then I will stock up with a few more bottles.

I'm returning Almost everything I bought from Marshall’s. The Giovanni products don’t work well in my hair and instead of giving them away like usual. I’m getting my money back
